Dr Suresh's Jottings
“Percussion is primarily melodic!”

“Learning is a penance and realising is Bliss!”

“Creations in music are only discoveries of the Past”

“Pauses make the Phrases soulful”

“If God chose you to make music, He chose himself to listen to you.”

“Respect the audience!”

"As a musician, I find myself standing at the crossroads of two eras. I’ve had the privilege of learning from the past, where music was more than just sound it was a devotion, crafted with sincerity, commitment, and deep emotional connection. The older generation gave their entire being to the art, pouring their heart and soul into every note.”

“Now, I see the younger generation, sharp and practical, weaving business acumen into their craft, understanding their worth, and adapting to the modern world. They bring a certain clarity and precision, yet sometimes.”

"I believe the beauty lies in balance. There is wisdom in the emotional depth of the old and value in the practicality of the new. To lean too heavily on either would be a disservice to the art. My journey, as a musician, is to strike that perfect balance—where the heart of the music meets the mind, where emotion meets reason, and where the soul of the past embraces the reality of the present. Only in that harmony can true art flourish."
